As a result, rising entrepreneurs are scrambling to provide smart solutions that can precisely foresee undesirable situations and suggest the next moves. AAPAH Innovations, an Indian startup firm, provides remote sensing solutions for agriculture and marine and land, disaster, water, and weather management. The firm provides solutions to identify disasters, classify them based on multiple parameters, and track the progress of an incident for disaster mitigation.
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
Airborne Response is a drone-based disaster recovery and emergency response firm established in the United States. For catastrophe preparedness, mitigation, and response training, the startup uses the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) concepts. Drone technological advancements allow disaster management firms and recovery teams to undertake rescue operations more efficiently. Emerging drone firms are developing multi-functional unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to provide aerial support for various applications. Drone training and UAS flight services are provided to emergency management organizations of all sizes by the startup.
Wireless Mesh Networks
Natural catastrophes frequently wreak havoc on power and communication infrastructure, particularly in underdeveloped countries. Sovereign Systems is a Singapore-based firm that allows emergency response teams and government organizations to communicate without interruption. Wireless mesh communication networks and faster internet protocol (IP) solutions are among the services provided by the startup. Sovereign Systems also offers solutions for remote IP, secure bidirectional data transfer, and streaming. A convergent security information management (CSIM) system subsequently sends this data to the control room for additional examination.
Connected Command Center
SaveSarah, a Hungarian startup, is working on an incident command platform for first responders that is updated in real-time. The startup's options are live mission tracking, real-time first responder coordination, and drone integration for disaster response teams. Location monitoring gives critical information about people's movements and allows first responders to navigate an event zone more efficiently. SaveSarah also enables command centers to rerun missions to discover bottlenecks or resolve pending conflicts.
